Is there really enough time?

To spend the devotional time you need to with the Lord.  To share quality time with the family.  To take care of yourself.  To go after your dreams.  To become a better you.  To fulfill God's plan for your life.  To breathe.  To eat.  To rest.  To enjoy life until you are full and overflowing with the blessings. To forgive those who have hurt you.  To love someone who is hard to love.  To be kind.  To see about someone who is sick.  To comfort a hurting soul.  To help save the lost.

Is there really enough time?  YES

The truth of the matter is that we make room in our lives for the things that are important to us.  BUT with that truth we can not try to do it all at once.  Sometimes we need to allow patience to have her perfect work in us.  What do I mean?  I am the type person that will go after what I want until I get it.  What I want could be 100s or 1000s of things, can I do a thousand things at once-- not naturally, but what I can do is be patient and accomplish these things gradually.  Everyday working toward having these goals accomplished.

So, when you began to feel overwhelmed and like you have lost control.  Take a minute to re-evaluate your life's goals and pace yourself.

~Let it Snow~

It's very interesting to me how when I woke up this morning at 3am to get ready for work.  There was no snow.  When I got to my commuter bus to work there was no snow.  But when a woke up and got off the bus the snow was falling.

What's the Point?  Blessings could be in your forecast, but when you wake up you might not see or feel the blessing.  When you get in you car to go out into your daily activities you might not see or feel the blessings.  But when you take the time to rest in His arms and you open your eyes.  Then you will see the blessings!  One after another after another overtaking you like the snow!

So, that's why I say Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

Much Love...

It's what I've been call to...

Many wonder why I don't act a certain way, or why I seem to be a certain way.  My answer is that It's what I've been called to be.  NOW don't get me wrong I'm definitely not one of those people that feel like you can abuse people and say that is just you...  We must answer to a higher call than just our shallow expectations of the surface issues.

Am I an expert?  No, but everyday I SEIZE the opportunity to be GREAT!

Something to think about...

Stuck in Traffic!

Last night and today I got stuck in D.C. traffic for hours.  At first I was really frustrated because I felt like I was on the slow bus and the people in the HOV lanes were on the fast bus.  It was just frustrating watching them drive by while I was standing still.

Have you ever been in a place where you felt like everyone else had all the favor and you were some how burden with watching them move ahead?  I felt that way being stuck in traffic all that time.  Feeling trapped and like you have no control of the situation.  Eventually once I calmed down...  I realized that there was probably another way to get to where I was going.  So, I simply took off the "easy or fast" routes from my Navi and it gave me the slower routes or the back roads.

Sometimes you have to be willing to go a different way to get to where you are going.  It might seem like it will take a little longer, but once you embark on that journey you will soon realize that there is smooth sailing and you will get there right on time.

Making Things Right!

Wow, have you ever been faced with something that was a reminder of who you were, but not who you are.  Today, I faced that challenge and I felt so torn, because I felt like on one end I was being ripped apart.  On the other hand I felt myself saying I'm not going to let this happen again.  So, I became very defensive.  When I didn't need to be.  So, what am I saying.  I realized that I just needed to make things right.  I refuse to go back to the way I used to be.  I have been changed by the Blood of Jesus!

So, if you are facing something today and you feel like man what is the deal.  Why do I want respond the way I use to.  Let go of the anger and the hurt from the past that got you to this point, and just MAKE IT RIGHT!  It may not feel good while you are doing it, but you'll feel better and be better for doing the right thing!
